Comedy 😂😂

Comedy is another art form which takes place when a serious situation is resting in a movie. It actually has a separate fan base. Today I was watching "Singam" movie. It's a Tamil movie which is directed by Hari. It has its continuation to three parts and today I watched the first part. It's a commercial perspective and a serious cop story. The protagonist is a police officer who wishes to evacuate all the goons in the city and wanted to establish a peaceful and stable place. That's where he is challenged by the antagonist and the hero takes this challenge and finally accomplishes his goal by shooting the villain. This is the base line of the story and as usual they have a female protagonist who stays as a supportive partner to the hero.

When the plot moves forward by showing the hero as a sincere police officer there is another police who works along with the hero and he is completely characterised to be a comical one. When the story has a serious line this comedy stays as a break and attention seeking aspect to the movie. These humorous scenes were actually much needed and it too contributed to the movie. When photography, songs and fights were important, comedy is also another tool to make the movie a success. The actor who played as the comedian in this movie, Vivek sir, is known for his humour which always has a message conveyed. When there are many ways in art form to convey a message, Vivek sir took comedy as a tool. Comedy generally is meant to make people laugh and stay as a stress buster to the audience. His comedy has separate fan followers where his comedies are meant to be laughed at and also opens a new perspective. He makes his audience feel relaxed so that they can think about the content that he intends to convey. And it's actually true that when we stay calm our minds open new perspectives. Here, in the movie too, he stays as a supportive and a stress buster to the hero at times. It's very subtly shown but can be felt by the audience if we take a deep look. Comedy actually has many underlying meanings and stories behind. It's not very easy to make others laugh. That needs a special strength to ourselves so that we can convert things funny without hurting others. Aristotle, the Greek philosopher, mentions in his work that comedy is the lowest form of art and that, the comedy character will be an average or a normal person, not like the hero, so that they can easily connect with the audience. It's the lowest form of art. I would like to add that it's also a difficult form of art.

And in this movie, Vivek sir actually did justice to his role which gave me complete satisfaction towards the film. A very nice movie to be watched at the Sunday evening.
