Panache 😎

Today I came up with the word 'Panache'. As usual I went to search for the meaning and it was  'a way of doing something with stylish confidence'.  To brief it in my own words, there will be a unique way of exhibiting our confidence in a stylish and elegant way. It may be our walking style, grace while dancing, speaking skills or even our way of dressing too. A person portrays himself or herself with a confidence and style that makes it exceptionally unique and highlights too. When I am trying to understand this, one person immediately comes to my mind is as I am watching cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a well known cricketer and famously known as captain cool. That coolness is his signature. Even at tough times his calmness and analysing the situation and turning it according to him with unique twists is his panache.  With a unique way of portraying the characters, using the scenery at best ways and an extraordinary way of dialogues is the panache of Director Mani R...

Emotional packed day 😁😁

After a long time and a detachment made already, returning back to the place where I grew up gave me a feel of bliss along with elation. It made me feel that though I may have physically moved out still I have a connection with the place because that's where I spent my 18 years of life. Yes, I visited my place 'Salem' for a temple trip. Salem is where I did my entire schooling and it is a town in the down south in Tamilnadu. One remarkable landmark that will make you exactly understand where it is, is 'Yercaud' the small hill, famous for tourists visits which is in salem. And there is no doubt that there was once living a Don 😎 few years ago. Yes, it's me 😁. And the place automatically gave me the feeling of belonging and Don emotion 😁. The market roads , the temples and the famous food , everything that I was very much used to when I was there. After I dropped there yesterday, I thought I would go buy some vegetables because veggies there are available at ...

Now I am unlocking the first interesting thing.                          ( Images from google)         Dhurandhar: The revenge, movie that I watched just before my exams. It's the sequel to Dhurandhar. A banger movie, worth watching in theatres with a runtime of 3 hours 49 minutes. It cannot be called as a second part but a continuation.   The movie was originally planned for 7 hours and has been divided into two sets for cinema purposes. When I saw the first part , I really regretted it for not watching it in the theatre. Such an extraordinary script writing with perfect screenplay and cinematography and you would definitely experience a power packed performance from each and every character that was carefully casted. Another brave attempt from the Bollywood industry.  It is an Aditya Dhar movie, the roles were played by Ranvir Singh, Sara Arjun, Akshay kanna, Madhavan, Arjun Ram...

Time management ⏰📝

Hi all!  I now only feel relaxed as I am entering my blog page after a stressful week of exams which made me give a short break to my blogs. And now back again with the same hopes and enthusiasm 😎. With this energy I like to talk about an important topic which I very much faced during this series of exams.  Actually I have two more interesting things which I wanted to discuss but was not able to immediately because my focus shifted towards my exams. I know I am taking exams as a reason but still my concerns were towards it therefore I could not concentrate on my writing. I know you all would have missed my writings so I am here again!  I will take the next consecutive blogs to load it with the interesting events and today utilising this to speak about the important element which I faced during the exams.  Time management!  An important concept that we need to give special attention to right! One of the toughest part that I faced was managing time properly...

Exams: useful or stressful

How many of us will agree exams are a very useful one and benefit us.  Exams are actually a very necessary part of the learning phase. Its not to test our potential instead it is to test our position in the subject. Exams show how clear we are with the topic and how depth we have thought about the concept. And also how vast we have learned the concept. Of course it shows how attentive we were in class 😉. To be honest this statement will terrify me 😁.  Exam is a method to test our knowledge, understanding, memory and articulating skills. I agree exams are useful as well as the marks because both go hand in hand and the latter is the one which helps us show all the above mentioned.  But why are they being so stressful? First is we take it as a stressful enemy rather than taking it as a target that is to be achieved. We lose interest in taking the challenge and another fact is we do it as a preparation at the last minute. Actually last minute studying is quite a thrilling ...

Why do I talk to myself as a motivational speaker.

Why do I talk to myself as a motivational speaker? An important and necessary question to be answered right! I have uploaded many blogs that seem to be a writeup of motivation and a page of self confidence. Am I really such a kind of person! Don't think that I am very good at giving advice and motivating. To be honest enough, I am not the person who is walking only with optimism. I too have strengths and weaknesses in me. But still at the end of the day the optimiser in me tries to make it look everything as a positive one.  I would definitely need such a character in me. Not only me but also all of them.  I speak to myself because, firstly it is the only person available 24/7 to whom I can ask any doubts and any opinions which will come out with a good view point. The optimiser in me will never let me down and also listens patiently to my talks. However you pack the optimiser with troubles, worries, problems and confusions, it will always come with a positive answer and notes...

Is it fine to write on simple topics?

I was scrolling through my blogs to see how I have written and the kind of topics that I have concentrated on. And mostly found that my focus was on very simple topics and they were also very random. This made me think, my writing was very simple, boring and mundane to read. Am I writing to really develop myself or was I writing simply for the sake of writing. Or is it because I am writing it as I am bored? I seriously don't know and think whether my topics look bored because I am bored!   But the optimistic person inside me said it is not that way. Everything we start from simple understanding. We try to look at huge things and think small topics doesn't matter. But there are lot of contents in simple one. For instance, walking which was one of my topics, and we may think that walking is a simple exercise but when we look deeply into it we can put that one simple idea into literary theories like structuralism where how things are chained to each other like the purpose of wal...

Happy New year 🎊

Ugadi is the New year according to Hindu calendar celebrated mostly by Telugu population, mostly in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is celebrated in the time of March - April according to the Gregorian calendar that is the English months. It is said that the word 'yuga' means era and 'adi' means beginning, therefore it can be read as 'the beginning of an era'.  The day is celebrated with applying oil to ourselves and taking a head bath and reveal our new clothes in front of the mirrors. Start for pooja and official calendar called 'panchagam' is read. Panchagam will be the calendar followed for the rest of the year. Its actually an oldest and incredible creation. And then our celebration reaches the important point that is Food.  The special dish that's made on this occasion is the 'Ugadi Pachadi'. It's a kind of sauce you may call, but not exactly sauce, I say the texture looks like sauce. It's made out of tamarind, n...

Why silence is important!

I have uploaded blogs on meditation, relaxation , being calm and motivating ourselves by listening to us etc and many more. If we take a look, all these point to an important factor called silence right! Silence is an element which all the above mentioned possess. We, in order to seek a silent moment tend to follow meditation and listen to music so that our mind gets relaxed and focuses on things. Therefore silence becomes an important factor.  Why is a moment of silence important for us everyday? When I asked this question to chatgpt ( whom I always keep pestering with such questions and I don't know what it would say if it had a chance to speak), it said it's a space that we require to make our mind and emotion meet and its not merely absence of noise. I quite agree with this statement. We shouldn't be silent as to achieve isolation instead for the solitude. We stay silent to clear our mind so our mind can get ready to intake more learnings. It needs time to store and pro...

Thank you so much 😊😊

It's actually a nice feeling when you get appreciated for your dedication and hardwork right! It's not only about appreciation in things which we excelled . It may be something you are learning and trying to explore. But when we do it with concentration and wholeheartedly we will surely get the credits. It's not about working only for credits but the focus and dedication that we put in work will make results automatic. When we dive into the work and our focus completely  on that, the results, we would consider it as a bonus point actually.  But when we get those bonus points we would feel the most lucky being moment. Random people whom we may not have had a conversation with earlier, come to us and appreciate our dedication will actually give a satisfactory feeling. You will definitely have a sense of achievement because you accomplished the ultimate aim of the work. When you hear words that congratulate you, you get an energetic strike and that will also stay as a for...

Salad ninja 🔪🍽️ 🍅🥒🍍🥕🧅

Miles I walked to reach the shop which my Dad found through Facebook I guess. The Eureka satisfaction he had after finding the shop was a highlight feature. It was a Bhel Puri shop in T Nagar. For those who don't know what Bhel puri is, ( I am sure everyone would know but still) it's a chat item that is very easily prepared. A best, simple and healthy evening snack. The shop that he took me to, had only two items - one is Bhel puri and another is fruit salad. When you add the puffed rice to the salad it becomes Bhel puri. And there is a special mint chutney used for to bring that unique taste.  It was a small shop, a roadside shop, in a corner of the street. Only the shop was small but the crowd appearance blocked the street. People including us were waiting to get our snack not only because of hunger but also for the taste that tempted us just by gazing at the man preparing it. He was as quick as a fast running train. 'Chak chak chak' the onions, cucumber and tomatoes...

Nostalgic newspaper 📰🗞️

Okay dear readers. I would like to take you back to some interesting and fun factors in the newspaper that was the main reason why I got a newspaper when I was young. As young children, we know that newspapers, the treasure, will reach our doorstep every morning around 6:30 am and they have to be given to our elders who read it with a hot cup of coffee beside them. And when you see them adjust their glasses it seems like they have a ready solution to the problems addressed in the paper in their pockets. They literally dive into the newspaper that sometimes tend to forget the clock. But to me personally, when I was young newspaper for me meant to have important pages in the last part of the paper where you have 'sudoku' game and Sunday newspapers will have 'spot the difference' in it. That's the only reason I picked up newspapers. I like playing them even now. 'Sudoku' is there in 'The Hindu' even now but I am not sure about 'spot the difference...

Beauty of observing

Today I found an interesting and nice word.  'Gongoozler'. In simple understanding it's someone who watches things around with an interest but never takes part in the event. Just like a mere spectator. This word is mainly associated with addressing a person who stands by a bridge or canal and watches the boats and the water. Mainly in the context of sea watchers this term can be used.  Those who like gazing things around silently, the observer with a calm and composed mindset will easily fall into the scene which they are gazing at. They merely don't look at but study the things around it. Their casual look will actually help them in understanding a lot of things of the thing that they are looking. Such is the speciality of the observers. If you could see the most silent person in your friends group for instance, and ask them, they will have a different perspective and actually have observed in very a detailed manner. Such is the power of observing things around us.  Th...

A letter to coffee 💌💌💌

I seriously didn't have any topic today to write as my blog, meaning I am actually feeling exhausted and am not able to think of any content for today. So I thought I will seek help and randomly asked Chatgpt to suggest some topics to me so that I can take the idea and write my thoughts on the it. I asked to suggest fun topics to me. One nice idea that it gave me was 'A love letter to tea /coffee'. That sounds very entertaining right! I liked that very much and yes if you ask me to write a love letter to ... I take coffee, so I will write it to coffee. And yes if you ask me to write, mine will be like this I guess..  My dear lovable coffee.  Every morning without seeing you in the cup my day doesn't become pleasant. You make my mornings boostable, my afternoons waitable, my evenings enjoyable and nights peaceable. On the whole your presence makes me comfortable. You give me strength and make me feel relaxed and not even a day passes where I don't wait for you. Y...

A Doubt

Today I am going to use this page to type my questions for which I haven't got the clear understanding yet. May be later if I find out I will surely share it. And my doubts may seem silly, not a valid one, unlogic, very subjective notion etc. but it came to me. So I thought I would use this blog as a noting down of the thoughts. 'An introduction' by Kamala das about whom I have already mentioned once in my blog and her idea of language to write. In this blog I am going to arrange my doubts on this same poem's second half part.  First, there is a line where kamala das mentions about how men seek women and women who go for love. She puts it in this way "he is every man who wants a woman , just as I am every woman who seeks love". And as the poet's point, she says that men will only need a women but it's only a women who can understand the concept of love. At least that's what I understood by reading it. My doubt here is that if women are the true s...

Art of writing 📝✍️✏️

Reading, talking and thinking are the tools for writing.  It is always said that if you want to write you have to read a lot. Reading a lot will always help to write. Reading is the basic level for us to structure our writing. And when it comes to writing it starts from random writings. Pen down any thoughts that come to us. Because when we start writing what we think, we will have a lot of ideas coming up, we will have a concentration on structuring our writings as well as concentrate on style, and then we give way to more discussions too through our writing. How many brilliant features are associated with writing and they develop when we start writing. It is not necessary for our writings to be only academically inclined. That part is also equally important but that writing starts from simple and random thoughts. Our research papers also starts from a small idea. A huge tree will also grow from a small seed. So starting it simpler is not a fault. How we develop them into cr...

Watching a match after a long time 🏏🏏

I like watching cricket. A team game with lots of twists and turns. I am not a very big fan of world cup matches. I remember watching this Sri Lanka vs India match and I was young at that time. I like watching IPL matches. They are short, played for twenty overs and quite interesting too. I don't know all the information on cricket but yes quite a few things I can understand in the game. I myself am a street cricketer 😁. I used to play when I was young. I had a group of friends who were my neighbours. We formed a team, waited for our summer vacation and once that started our match started. From 4 to 6pm it was our match timing. It's not too hot at that time and still the sun stays in the sky so it's not dark either. We divided ourselves into teams with the help of "Sha boo three" ( an auctioning strategy that we had and sometimes stay as a tool to find the outer in hide and seek game) and we didn't have coin for toss so we used "odd or even" game to...

The Art of beginning again.

Have you seen this movie "Lucky Bhaskar" played by Dulquer salman. Actually a very brilliant scripted and entertaining movie. The movie is about a middle class man who is humiliated because of his earnings, who later decides to use his tactics to earn showing that money is a weapon to sustain your respect in front of the people who don't value the emotion of humans. I personally like the film very much for it's script, screenplay, characters, actors as well as the content. In that movie there is one dialogue where the protagonist says " history only remembers how you finished it". It's in one way very true right. Our result will actually determine us. Though we may say outcome doesn't matter but ultimately for that goal is for what we are working hard. And our result will make us confident and that's when we will decide on how much we worked hard and was it successful. Therefore, results matters a lot. But it's in our hands on what will be ...

Your perspective changes in the way you look.

Perspective changes in the way we look at things. That is what we call it an optimistic and pessimistic perspective. When we look at things in a negative way our energy to work towards the goal may not seem to be a desired one. We may somehow bring the result of the work in a positive way but our efforts, our mind and satisfaction level on the work may not be very powerful. Our perspective in how we look is the first step of success for the work. In simple terms, if we think that drinking water daily is a work we may feel bored, that we pressure ourselves to do something, but when we think that this is a challenging and enthusiastic task that I give it to myself we may feel boosted and motivated to complete the challenge. That will benefit us in a healthy lifestyle as well as a confidence would be built in ourself telling that we will be able to achieve. Impossible would become a word that we wish to challenge. This example may seem very simple one but starting from smaller things...

Loyalty

Today I got to see a post on LinkedIn. The post was about a dog which saved a shopkeeper, who used to feed the dog with food daily, from a thieves group who were trying to attack the shopkeeper that night and the dog lost its eyesight in the fight with the thieves. I was not able to get the post later again. The dog was not actually owned by the shopkeeper. It was only given food daily by the shopkeeper. That loyalty we can learn from dogs actually. Even animals can sense the true emotions. This reminded me of the story ' the Elephant and the Tailor' where this tailor who daily gives banana to an elephant that belongs to the royal when it's on the way to take bath. But one day the tailor didn't have a banana so in order to move the elephant away, he pokes its trunk with a needle. This elephant doesn't do anything instead simply walks away. And on the way back it absorbs some mud that was in the puddle and splashes it on the tailor and his shop making the entire shop...

Best lessons life gives us

We read a lot, practice a lot and try to apply it wherever possible for the intended solution or results. But there are certain important lessons which only our experience would give us. Our life will always teach us valuable and important lessons. Though we take it or not its teaching will always be present. It not only teaches us but also highlights our work, whether it be good or any mistake in our work. Lessons like procrastination, importance of words and patience, all are vital for us to cross pathways. Procrastination is one big mistake that I personally occur often and my experience will keep teaching me often. We actually should not postpone things which later will have greater impact. Be it crucial or small work it should be done on time. Doing it priorly is also fine but late will always make us hectic. I keep understanding the importance of this but still trying to figure out how to solve this problem.  The importance of words is something which is another one in the r...

Believe in yourself

It's the hope and self confidence that we have within ourselves makes us reach our success. There may be doubts of whether we will be able to do this or that. Let there be doubts within others. It's not necessary for us to answer our capabilities to others. Instead we can show them through our actions. We are liable to answer only to the questions that are asked within us. We are the ones who have the right to question ourselves and only we can answer those. No one can better motivate us than us. Of course, there may be times where we may have doubts about our talents and potentials. We may not find an exact answer for that too but in that situation it's the confidence in us that will make us succeed. We primarily should have hope that would automatically build confidence. Self confidence is basically building a trust within ourselves. That trust is already within us when we are into this world. It's about how we enhance it and keep it strong. Our trust for ourselves is...

A movie with friends

Watching a nice comedy film is a great experience. When you watch a comedy movie in a theatre filled with the audience, responding to the comedy will automatically enhance the laughter and elevate the comedy. The movie I watched today is 'Thai kizhavi' a Tamil movie starring Radhika Sarathkumar and many others. An interesting movie, that brings the concept of independence, freedom and emotions dominated by greed. To explain the movie as a summary , it's about a very stubborn old woman who prefers being independent, falls sick, and her sons fight over her unknown properties and whether she recovers and does her sons understand her value and attain the property and what happens to her daughter is the end of the story.  A family entertainment movie which completely sets in a village and the screenplay, songs, setting and the costumes did not fail to achieve its goals. The actors played well on their part. The dialogues were made sure that they reflected the setup. Overall, it...

Small habits help at greater level.

Very small habits that we follow will have greater influences on our character and practices. When we wake up early in the morning we can find ourselves being fresh and active throughout the day. When we walk daily for certain kilometres we sweat a lot which helps to control our sugar and burn more calories which keeps us fit and healthy. Daily meditation for 10 minutes will calm our mind and feel a stress free lifestyle. Small habits like these will help us in the long run. We tend to focus on the long run while failing to cherish these small necessary habits which basically helps for the longer one. In simple terms, we forget to spend a few minutes for ourselves which later makes us forget ourselves and our priorities.  Concentrating on small habits is actually a better way to develop and succeed in our life. When we plan a thing we automatically have a clear and larger idea on the thing similarly when we plan our daily life we basically plan for our future goals and know which t...
