 Beauty and the beast is one of the fairy tales that speaks about the importance of virtue, kind heart and true love. Not the physical appearance or the intelligence matters, only a pure soul can win the love from the World, is the main moral of the tale. 

There are many versions of this tale and one among which I watched today is the film version that was released in 2017. In this movie, the merchant had only one lovable daughter that is Belle ( the beauty). She locks herself up as a prisoner in the Beast's palace in order to save her father. She also loses her mother in plague which is also added to the story. One interesting part is, there is a villain in this film named Gaston, who desires to marry Belle and later tries to kill the Beast so that Beauty and the Beast cannot marry and share their love. A fairy tale shot with a commercial perspective. 

The movie though had its own version of the plot, actually made justice to the story by its camera angles and movements. The movie, almost achieved by taking the audience to the setting of the actual tale. Credits to the actors must be definitely mentioned as they swiftly adapted their roles within moments. One of the best parts in the movie is the editing and CG which elevated the movie especially the Beast lookout that was the highlighting touch. The costumes were apt to the setting and perfectly fitted the actors. 

The musicality and a well drawn setting with perfect roles was the reason for the success of the film. 

It is actually a very nice choice to be watched on Sunday afternoons.
