What if I get the Lamp! 🧞‍♂️🧞‍♂️

Today I was watching the animated version of Alauddin when I was having my lunch. Actually there is a song recently released, that is composed by A.R.Rahman, a renowned Indian music director known for his innovation and achievements in music, which made me watch the animated version of Alauddin. There is a movie and serial too on this story but I watched the fairy tale version. 

We all know what happens in the story. The highlighting part or we can call it the rising action, is when the Genie comes out of the lamp. And it fulfills all the desires of Alauddin and also helps him when he is in trouble. So I was thinking 'What if I got the lamp which Alauddin got it from the cave!' 

First, like Alauddin I would rub the lamp and that's when the Genie comes out. Initially I thought  I would ask him  to prepare tomato rice as my first wish. I would ask him to prepare it very tastily that it would fill my tummy. And I would make sure not to use the lamp like Alauddin. I would rather rub the lamp very often. 

This story, we all may have heard it when we were very young and it would be like a moral story. When I heard the story , my focus was on Alauddin and the Uncle who tried to take everything from the boy especially the lamp. It was full of fantastical elements and this elevated the essence of the fairy tale. But the actual story is not like the moral story. It's a different one. This story is one among the 1001 Arabian nights which was actually added much later. When I was young I was fascinated to hear this story. But when I watched it today my concentration was on the magical elements which were in the story. My mind was thinking about 'what if we had the lamp!' 

Our many problems can be easily solved within moments. We can easily grow and enjoy everything. Whatever we wish for would appear within moments to us. 

But it may disappear within no time if Genie leaves us. That gave me a different thought. Things like achieving our goals, solving the problems and growing to higher levels can be accomplished if we work it out with hardness and smartness which may not disappear very soon and easily. These can be done by the Genie that is within ourselves who is the real Genie. We are the real Genie who could make things possible. Only we can live our lives to the best. That changed my initial wish which is, to ask the Genie for tomato rice, because the authentic and tasty tomato rice can be made within moments by the real Genie that is Me. I can make it very delicious. 

Now I probably can ask the lamp Genie to bring a flying mat with which I can fly in the sky if I get such a lamp.
