My favourite film🍿🎬

Today I actually don't a have perfect content to share so I thought I would talk about the movie 'Tare zameen par' that I took as the reference in the previous blog.

One of my favourite movies which never fails to evoke the same emotion every time as I felt when I saw it for the first time. The movie is around a small boy named Ishaan who is probably around 9 years old. Ishaan makes his parents worry because of his poor academic performance and never takes interest in studying especially his handwriting which is very horrible and it looks upside down. His father has a strict character, like a typical parent who runs behind his work for family's wellbeing and his mother is a homemaker who tries to change Ishaan but fails to succeed. This makes his father to take a decision of changing this boy to a boarding school which leaves the boy in despair. He fears to face everyone and also feels very lonely where at a point shows his loneliness to his parents too making his parents helpless.

Later, the movie brings in the second lead , the main hero Aamir Khan who happens to be a drawing teacher in the boarding school. He encounters Ishaan, understands his problem psychologically and tries to motivate him through art because the boy is very fond of arts, that is trying to help the boy through his own way. Through his efforts he stays as hope to Ishaan and tries to make him get interest in studies which finally he achieves. The movie ends on a happy note showing ishaan's progress which makes his parents feel regretful for not trusting their son. A very remarkable master piece.

I personally like to watch this movie a number of times because of quite a few reasons. One for the screenplay that gradually takes us through the movie and tries to unfold slowly. The movie is a bit slow paced but actually it doesn't seem like that because of the perfect direction and screenplay. Next , is for the music. I am not sure who is the music director of the film but surely would give a special credit as it had made the scenes get even more elevated with both music and background sounds. The cast for the film is the main highlight of the movie. Their performances would make us easily grab the emotion and creates an impact which the crew  intended to convey to us. Last but not least is for the story. This movie is especially known for its concept. A teacher is someone who is not merely who teaches us the concept but he stays as a guiding star, "a star of heaven" meaning a hope,  as mentioned by Percy Bysshe Shelley, a well known Romantic poet in his work 'To a Skylark '. A teacher would stay as a hope to the students which motivates the child to face any situation with full confidence. Matha, Pitha, Guru and Deivam right! Four guiding stars in a man's life and Guru is given a position just below the God, meaning a teacher holds a supreme position in a child's life. A teacher should be like the 'pied piper' where Amir khan is mentioned in the end of the movie.

This movie brings out the beautiful bond between a Guru ( teacher) and the shisya (student).

A movie that impacted me a lot!
