Enjoying food with movies.

Movies are made even spicier along with the perfect snack combo or even lunch and dinner etc. I always like to watch a movie while I am eating. Be it already watched or a new one. 

My dinner today was veg biryani. I will call it veg biryani 😎. After a tiresome day filled with laughter, sharing plans and an extraordinary time with friends I came home very hungry and tired which made me decide to prepare a little heavy dinner. So veg briyani came to our choice. 

And my choice of movie today for dinner was 'Ezham arivu' a Tamil movie, a very nice commercial entertainer and actually a perfect selection at the moment. But unfortunately by the time I sat with my plate the movie was moving towards its climax. Still, I got the opportunity to see those scenes. 

Every time when we plan to sit and watch a movie we will fill a bowl full of snacks like potato chips or popcorn or any other snacks available at home and interestingly watch the film. If you notice, In theatres we get something to eat in the interval but will only finish the dish when we do come to almost the ending portion. I mostly do that, eat very slowly where my eye will be on the screen but still my mouth tastes the snacks. My Granny used to tell me that if I get a plate and eat while watching I will be the slowest eater comparatively. My eyes completely sink into the movie and at the same will not be able to  keep the plate away. I want both eating and movie watching to happen simultaneously. 

More than in theatres, I do this when watching a movie at home. Eat very slowly that my mouth will be chewing ten times extra than a normal one. Every bit of the movie will be more interesting and enthusiastic along with something to eat. And the scenes in the movie which show food or eating scenes I somehow feel tempted while seeing that. One best scene that I remember very well is this dining scene in the first part of Harry Potter, 'Harry potter and the philosopher stone', where after the division of students into their houses, they all dine together where every cake and jelly will look colourful and my mouth fills with water. 

Sunday afternoon, a bowl full of chips along with a nice movie, that would be a great day for me!!Food is always the best and necessary one while watching a movie.
