Palak paneer 🥬🥬

Chappati with palak paneer is an awesome combination. After a long time I think I am having paneer. Paneer is always one of my favourites. Today, being Sunday, I thought of having something delicious for dinner because my lunch was not with a great menu. Therefore, dinner was my option and that's when I came to a conclusion for preparing palak paneer because I saw palak in the fridge. So after a long time, I bought paneer and I cut it into small cubes. It was very gentle, smooth and my knife went very coolly between the slices. It was very soft where it actually made me melt while cutting it. I tried not to cut it very small because if we fry it then, chances are there for it to get mixed up so I carefully cut it in cubes and fried them in ghee. I sauteed it and made sure it doesn't get stuck up. I could see the white, soft sponge, cut into pieces sizzling in ghee gradually turn into golden brown on the sides.

My Granny prepared the palak gravy, and this time she made it look red and not the usual green colour mixture. Instead of adding green chillies, for a change I think she added red chillies and this one had its unique taste. Ha!! She always explores varieties in cooking. When the gravy was ready, I, on the other side finished watching the golden brown cube, slowly dropped the paneer into the gravy. When I had it with chappati I felt like I was floating. My dinner was successful and my appetite was satisfied by paneer.
