2025 TO 2026 πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

And the year comes to an end. It's going to be 2026 in a few more hours and our clocks and calendar will start showing dates according to this year. Days are running quickly right. I feel within moments this year passed. For the first half I was in the third year of UG and all my duties and relaxations were according to that. In the next half I was enrolled in PG , which I initially didn't think would become my cup of coffee, and all my duties raised its standard and weightage accordingly. There was a lot of happiness, sadness, confusion, stress, laughter, and tears that occupied me this 2025. And now the year comes to an end but all these factors do stay with me and is also getting ready for the next year.  Resolution for the year, I am not up to it but one thing I wish to tell myself is to stay confident, focused and be the same because this me was the one who was able to cross the 2025. Another one important resolution would be to learn even more and work harder towards ...

'Take a moment'

Decision making is an art, it's said right. Then it means everyone is an artist. Our life is filled with making crucial decisions. Some of those get success and some get learning. From simple choices to big life factors we make decisions. Our life carries decisions along with it. We will have options in every factor.  Each path will lead us to different ways. So making it wise is very necessary at every point of time. Because we cannot assure that every time we get a chance. Of course life is full of chances but still we do not know how and when it comes right , because life is not only full of chances but also full of surprises. While making a decision we think about its consequences, uses, the ability, its impact and its consistency etc. And many more. This will require time as we have to think about all the surrounding factors to it. But what if the decisions are to be made in a hectic situation. Will we have time to think about other factors?  Mostly only the questio...

The Success 😎πŸ₯³

I feel very happy about myself as I have successfully uploaded in a total of twenty five blogs. I never thought that I would take an initiative to write blogs and post it. This writing gives me immense happiness and pleasure and I also feel encouraged while doing this. Any thought, writing daily would actually have an impact in our writing style and our language. I don't know whether I have improved a lot but I  personally feel that there is 0.5 per cent of development in my writing. Not only the style but also in my structuring and thought process. I think of what to write daily and this opens me to various thoughts. It assigns work to my brain πŸ˜€. This might be a small step but every step will always teach us something right. This step taught me a lot, made me relax and also appreciate me for my achievements and at the same correct my mistakes.  I first thank my prof. Dr. Samuel Rufus sir, who was the one who introduced this task to me. He not only introduced it but al...

The Sunday πŸ˜€

Sunday is always special and I always say that right. This is the last Sunday of this year right. And the year comes to end.  Today my special was briyani. Of course it's veg biryani but that's a great recipe for people who are completely up to only veg like me. Today it was veg biryani for my lunch. You know, adding all the masala, colourful vegetables and heating it up along with rice enhanced my appetite even before it was cooked. This process of making biryani reminds me of Superstar Rajini sir's dialogue " love oda samaikanum." Of course I didn't cook but still felt that.  After a long time they made biryani on Sunday and that too for lunch. I enjoyed it along with watching the movie 'The night at the museum' in star movies. It's actually a nice choice for sunday. The movie exhibits a blend of reality and imagination and a complete entertainer one. This is one of my favourite movies and I think I watched it today for the fourth time. Still it ...

The singer in me πŸŽ€πŸ‘©‍🎀

How many of you sing very loudly when no one is near you? That is also a part of singing right. I admit that I do it. Mostly in the bathroom, while doing something or even standing in front of the mirror and throwing the voice out, I do it. Today I was standing in front of the mirror and was singing very loudly without any hesitation. When I  stood in front of the mirror , I felt myself to be a celebrity and I thought that my voice had  millions of fans but the actual fan was my reflection in the mirror. But yes who else can motivate us better than ourselves. In that way I always admire my home and the mirror because they always allow me to pour my thoughts and talents even if I am not that very great and still stay calm by listening to my prattles and playfulness. That in a way encourages me because I am not being judged instead being appreciated and feel encouraged.  I was actually singing many songs, not the full song but only a part of them which I knew very wel...

Refreshing day 😁

Another day of relaxation. Even today I didn't have much to do. As usual I woke up because of the Sun entering through the screens of my bedroom. I had a nice sleep that I woke around 9 am today. I didn't have much to do in between the morning and lunch. Today my lunch was sambar rice. I thought I would watch TV while eating but nothing interested me so after a long time I was watching a Tamil serial while eating. Though I didn't watch a single episode of that serial, I still understood what was happening there. Maybe that's the beauty of these creations I think.  Then, i didn't wish to take a nap so I was listening to songs. My favourite songs I was listening and that gave me a pleasant mood, calmness in me and I felt relaxed. In the evening we had an unexpected guest at our home. They were very nice friends to us but actually they were our relatives. We had a refreshing conversation. As soon as they left, i checked my notification and saw my friends were active i...

Pleasant day 😊

Merry Christmas to all! 🌲⛄ It marks that the year is going to end in six more days. Today I hadn't done much. The day passed on its own. In the morning I woke up with an unforgettable dream which later in the evening I shared it with my friend too. At that time tears rolled but later I had to laugh about the dream.  Then I got a call from my other friend and she said me good news. The news is , in Sony Yay they telecasted Shinchan and his tour to India. I don't remember the exact title of the movie but it was bringing this young boy along with his friends and family including Shiro who is his pet dog to India. The background was completely based on the Indian setting. I saw Shinchan ordering 'Naan' and had an experience of viewing how chappati was prepared . A nice fight scene was composed for shinchan's mother too in the end portion which I liked about. I actually missed the beginning but my friend (Himmavari is what I addressed in contacts and I am Shinchan in h...

House cleaning 🏠🧽🧹

Cleaning the house is a very fun activity. Cleaning I meant not the daily mopping instead this is a little intense cleaning. Clearing things which are not needed, rearranging, dusting things, sorting out by its usability and appearance etc. I meant this cleaning. Today I thought about using the holiday effectively so I sat with my grandma for intense cleaning. Our spot for today was the kitchen. We took all the utensils from the shelf, washed it, cleaned the slab of the shelf and then sorted the needed one , threw the broken one and unpaired and then replaced the utensils. Wow!! That was a pretty great job done.  While I was cleaning, thing that amazed me was the models of utensils. They were very nice. Though some were damaged I didn't have the mind to throw them away because they looked very nice and they were very old pieces. There were some brought when my granny was young. That old it was and it was saved for these many years.  I also met a few spidey friends too. I had ...

A Photograph πŸ“ΈπŸ–Ό️

A memory which reminds us of nice things. Even fights look beautiful in photos. Every friends gang will have that one photographer who will never forget to capture the beautiful moments and save it for later. There is a poem that I read earlier titled "A photograph" where the poet sees her childhood photo taken on a beach. As I was scrolling my gallery today because I thought I would remove many pictures that are not needed, I saw many group photos that I shot with my friends, my photos in different poses, selfies, few with my family and photos of my play performances. This reminded me of the poem and one important feature of photographs and that skill.  Photos speak a lot. They speak more than sentences could. They try to have a conversation with us. They in a way correct us. For instance, when we take a photo, we look for many things around us, a proper background, lighting, filters as now technology has progressed, face expressions and positions, and many more. For one pho...

Meditate 🧘🧘‍♀️

Meditation is a powerful weapon to prepare ourselves for life. It gives us energy to face everything that we encounter in our life. Let's forget about things, the past and the re- births. We are not very certain about that. But the life that we are living presently belongs to us and only we can live it perfectly. That is true. The present,  we should make it pleasant, enjoyable and also learn a lot. We should try to find beauty in all the creations around us and learn to appreciate them. We should make ourselves open to learn and gain knowledge.  For all this we would need a calm and tranquil mindset. We should keep peace within ourselves so that we can seek peace outside. Meditation is one tool which helps to achieve this for us.  When we stay calm and relaxed our mind opens for lot of opportunities and would allow us to think in abundance. And when we think a lot it may lead to be hectic for us that lead to confusions. These confusions can also be avoided when we ...

Comedy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Comedy is another art form which takes place when a serious situation is resting in a movie. It actually has a separate fan base. Today I was watching "Singam" movie. It's a Tamil movie which is directed by Hari. It has its continuation to three parts and today I watched the first part. It's a commercial perspective and a serious cop story. The protagonist is a police officer who wishes to evacuate all the goons in the city and wanted to establish a peaceful and stable place. That's where he is challenged by the antagonist and the hero takes this challenge and finally accomplishes his goal by shooting the villain. This is the base line of the story and as usual they have a female protagonist who stays as a supportive partner to the hero.  When the plot moves forward by showing the hero as a sincere police officer there is another police who works along with the hero and he is completely characterised to be a comical one. When the story has a serious line this com...

Actions ✅not words ❌

"Action speaks more than words ". This statement is actually very true. Our achievements, plans and failures, as well, speak more than we do. To me, it should stand forward more than our words. Our words should be at the end of the action. Be it our rise or fall, that performance speaks out loud. Words after our victory will be listened to, but those after our loss will only be a scene of sympathy. Treating our mouth as a device is better because at times it is advisable to close our mouths. Empty vessels make more noise. When we don't have a goal we only spend our time spitting out things. Our goal will make us stay focused, simpler and ideal. It motivates us to accept new tasks and also teaches us a lot. The silence will allow our inner emotions to talk to us a lot. There is a lot that our mind and heart wishes to talk to us. As we only give the opportunity to voice box these two malfunction at times when needed and that's when we face difficulty in taking decision...

Those Golden days πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯Ή

I read my friend's blog today where she spoke about the old age. That made me realise that years are passing on for us too and it made me think back to my olden days. People of my age group are actually in the centre line between 90s and 2K generation who have to experience both phase and work accordingly. We have to run along and accordingly, to the current generation but our interests are mostly on those old days . I think most of them would agree on this point.  When we were young we had many beautiful things around us. We never stayed indoors during holidays. Our games where carrom board, kabaddi, hide and seek and especially street cricket. I was the renowned bowler in my team. We were the kids who longed for games hour during free hours in our school and made sure that our white sport shoes are never white. Fifty paise chocolates were available at our young age and the olden days candies where also very tasty for us. We always enjoyed the times and at the same never mis...

"Marghazhi days" πŸƒπŸ™

Winter day winds are making us shiver right. This cold wind makes us feel like we are inside a fridge. It's the month of December and the marghazhi days have started. 'Marghazhi' is the ninth month according to the Tamil calendar. This month is usually dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. The early morning worship begins. 'Kolam' are structured beautifully in front of the homes and diyas are lighted to enhance the drawings brightly. Mostly Kolam are drawn using grinded rice flour or fined sand that looks white in colour. It's a part of cultural practice. Early bathings and Bajan singing can be heard in every house. One important aspect during this time is the singing of 'Tiruppavai' and 'Tiruvenppavai' that are verses dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva respectively. These verses are accompanied by ragas (tunes) and for sure played in the early morning.  Tiruppavai is the 30 verse hymn that is penned by Andal, a passionate devotee of Lord...

Tunes 🎡🎧🎢

A pleasant and relaxing activity is listening to music. Music is a beautiful art form that allows us to have a calm mindset and energetic body. They affect the emotional part of a person which has a capacity to enhance as well as reduce a mood of a person. Depends on the genres that we are listening to and at what moment we are listening to, it would help with fixing our mindset.  They play a major part in the movies which elevate the scenes. They have to be placed in such a way that it creates a lasting impact on the audience, that make them rise from their seats to enjoy it. Here the background music too adds on. It not only uplifts the story but also connects a movie to reality as when we hear , we would feel accordingly to mood of the song. It will take us into its track . We clap our hands when the music is for a motivational purpose, we shed tears when it is for an emotional sequence, we celebrate when it's the introduction song for the heroes and many more. A whole te...

To-do list in friends gang πŸ«‚πŸ“

We as friends will have a lot of wishes to fulfill . We take steps to plan things but only a few will come true.  One important goal is to go out to eat with friends and it has a separate emotion. It's filled with jokes and laughter . You get brilliant pictures of your friends that will forever be a cherishing aspect in our life. It constantly keeps reminding us about the day. There will always be a photographer in that gang who clicks every memory of the outing. There will be one best food critic who is a chef and would taste the food through its aroma itself. They would find every method the restaurant used to cook the dish and that would be one best part and a learning too, of course.  There will be one silent spectator who enjoys every moment deep and enjoys the food along with the fun. There will be one sincere person who concentrates on the laughter as well as on the food and adds on more to the humour in the group. Also, there will be one mother person who has a duty to ...

Dear Diary πŸ““πŸ“’πŸ“

Writing a diary and writing in a diary are two noteworthy and striking practices. They are different from each other but equally effective result givers. Today I was given a gift by my professor Dr. Samuel Rufus as an act of appreciating my efforts in pening down my thoughts, understandings and ideas as a blog. It's not only a gift but a motivation tool asking to improve myself by constantly taking efforts like this in order to reach my goal with confidence and happiness. It's not only a gift but a companion who says that I can do it and I will do it. It's a step towards my self improvement that shows myself as a confident girl. This gift inspired me to add more achievements and enjoy my success. My sir gave me a Diary. Now I have another work on my track that is to fill one page per day. I am very eager to do it and also hope that I will be able to finish the task successfully.  This is my second gift from a professor. Once I received a stamp pad with the words ' ...

Movie time🍿πŸŽ₯

Beauty and the beast is one of the fairy tales that speaks about the importance of virtue, kind heart and true love. Not the physical appearance or the intelligence matters, only a pure soul can win the love from the World, is the main moral of the tale.  There are many versions of this tale and one among which I watched today is the film version that was released in 2017. In this movie, the merchant had only one lovable daughter that is Belle ( the beauty). She locks herself up as a prisoner in the Beast's palace in order to save her father. She also loses her mother in plague which is also added to the story. One interesting part is, there is a villain in this film named Gaston, who desires to marry Belle and later tries to kill the Beast so that Beauty and the Beast cannot marry and share their love. A fairy tale shot with a commercial perspective.  The movie though had its own version of the plot, actually made justice to the story by its camera angles and movements....

Friendly fights πŸ’ͺπŸ«‚

Fights between friends are the most beautiful , interesting and later a funny memory too. Simple and silly misunderstandings between friends is what I am talking about. This, at the time of occurrence will look like the most painful part and the fight will seem like an earthquake occurring to others. But if you see the actual root cause for the fight, it would be a simple one. Even the most brilliant among the fighters in this fight, will not be able to find the reason for this issue. It would be that tougher. But later , it will be the most funny and sweet memory. One simple reason would create a conflict between two best friends and the same would be the next day's discussion converted as humour between the same friends. That is the power of true friendship.  I took this topic because it happened to remind me a silly fight with my friend when I was travelling in the train to the temple today. It happened between me and my best friend when we were in UG. We literally spoke for thr...

Boli πŸ₯ž

I am sorry for being late today. But I have a genuine reason for being late. My Daddy bought snacks today while he returned from work. He bought me "boli" to eat. "Boli" is a dish made mostly in centre and south India. This is made with Maida and for stuffing we add dal or jaggery and coconut mixture. There are variety of ways in making this and each of variety is famous in each state. In Tamilnadu they call it as "Obatu" and yes it is named differently in places. If you search in Google it would define this dish  as "Traditional Indian sweet stuffed flatbread." It will be very tasty especially when you add ghee on the top and it would make us float.  I got introduced to this dish as it would be prepared often and mainly on "Rama Navami" that is celebrated as birthday of Lord Ram. On that day, main dish offered to lord Ram is vadai, this boli, buttermilk with curry leaves in it and jaggery water which we call it as "panakam."...

What if I get the Lamp! 🧞‍♂️🧞‍♂️

Today I was watching the animated version of Alauddin when I was having my lunch. Actually there is a song recently released, that is composed by A.R.Rahman, a renowned Indian music director known for his innovation and achievements in music, which made me watch the animated version of Alauddin. There is a movie and serial too on this story but I watched the fairy tale version.  We all know what happens in the story. The highlighting part or we can call it the rising action, is when the Genie comes out of the lamp. And it fulfills all the desires of Alauddin and also helps him when he is in trouble. So I was thinking 'What if I got the lamp which Alauddin got it from the cave!'  First, like Alauddin I would rub the lamp and that's when the Genie comes out. Initially I thought  I would ask him  to prepare tomato rice as my first wish. I would ask him to prepare it very tastily that it would fill my tummy. And I would make sure not to use the lamp like Alauddin. I woul...

Metres to moments🚢🚢‍♀️

Walking is a good and very nice habit. It's a good physical exercise for our body as it burns our calories and makes us fit and energetic. On one side it physically strengthens us and on the other hand it gives us mental peace. A kind of calm and relaxed mindset will be created when we take a walk. It's good to take a walk for at least a few minutes and that too especially in the morning as that's the time when Mr. Sun starts to shine brightly and calls us to receive its vitamin D which is very good for us. This morning rays is comparatively very much healthier to humans as it arises from the horizon and falls on us without any mixture of dust and smoke. I think the moonlight in the night clears all the smoke and that's why the Sun is able to distribute fresh sun rays. Nice that they help each other to help us. Nature always teaches us.  I like to walk and I am used to walking long distances. This habit I developed from my Daddy as we used to walk to places when it...

Cinema πŸ“½️πŸ“½️

One of my favourite hobbies is to watch movies.  Cinema is another art form through which one could convey ideas and emotions through actions and dialogues. It's a visual art which involves a lot of artistic elements and technological innovations. It combines many other art forms such as acting, screenwriting, direction, backdrop workings, editings, composing tunes and many more. It's a combined art form. Thinking of these makes me dumb struck. The entire crew works on one single idea that is of the writer but others perspectives too silently get involved into the art form and as a whole product it reaches the viewers without changing the single idea. Isn't it awesome! The cinema initially was in black and white. Without any development in technology, with basic equipment one could bring out a story that was entertaining, eye opening and also created a new thought process along with creativity. Later with the growing world, the perspectives and angles of the camera changed...

My mistakes πŸ™‚

It's not wrong to make a mistake. We learn from our mistakes. I am still trying to figure out things and during this journey i commit and committed a lot of mistakes. Some mistakes are done unintentionally, some by lack of concentration and some are done out of over confidence. But I understand that it's fine to make mistakes. These mistakes are the actual factors through which I learnt and am learning on how to plan to reach my goal. Some mistakes impacted me emotionally. Though it made me realise the lesson out of it, still the impact of it stay in my mind. I don't want to erase them because they motivate me twice compared to others and make me to think that I should work even more harder so that, I not only accomplish my task but also show that I am too capable of doing things. 'Every cloud has a silver lining'. This is my favourite quote and I want to find my lining through which I could shine. And to achieve this my mistakes help me a lot.  Sometimes I feel low...

Sunday special πŸ—“️

Sunday among all the other days in a week has a special status to all of us. You can experience mulitple emotions on that day. In the morning, one would feel very sleepy and even 10 am would like 6am. And though subconsciously we know it's 10am we can still cover our bedsheet and take some more time to finish our dream because it's not only an holiday but also it's Sunday. After 10am we cannot sleep as we have other things to carry on because that's is the only day where we can spend time for ourselves. It's true that on the other days in the week we run for ourself but this is the day we stop and relax. Not only relax but also prepare our minds for the next week. And also enjoy things for which we were running all the days. I mean for the food.  After 10am we some how wake up and get ready and we would feel an unique freshness which we don't experience daily. Our house would be filled with appetising scent and that will start it's journey from the gas stove...

Jilebi dilemma 🫠

Today I was looking into cooking videos in YouTube. My friend would often tell that once she had only foodie videos suggested on her Instagram because I was watching it for few minutes. You all know how Instagram reels work, right! I like watching foodie videos and there is temptation created when you see the dish getting prepared and that will on one side enhance your hunger and on other hand will also feel a satisfaction. So today I was watching it as usual and one reel on my suggestion was one woman making a sweet and this reminded me of making jilebi for diwali. You know its actually not very easy to make jilebi. You need all scribbling skills to bring out a perfect tangled sweet and it will look awesome, seriously.  I actually kept this title for different purpose but I was diverted to food because you know i like food. We all love food for sure! I said this because I wanted to share that today my mind was actually occupied with various thoughts. Actually I was watching ...

My morning 'Kappi' ☕

Friends! Have you ever felt anything while waiting for your coffee? That too early in the morning. Coffee lovers would surely know the pleasantness in this beverage. I am a coffee lover but I also like to have tea. But if you give me it as an option, sorry but I will have to surely take coffee's side. I took this topic today because my morning coffee is actually still staying in my tongue despite having a tasty lunch. That's how much I loved my coffee today and definitely I have to give credits to my granny. Thank you Avva! ( mean- granny in Telugu) I woke up around 6:30am today and you know my alarm today was the invigorating coffee which my granny was casually preparing it for me. I have no experience in bed coffee so I as usual brushed my teeth and took time in relaxing and saw the slow approaching coffee cup to me which completely woke me up from my sleep. You have to definitely imagine this scene, where the approaching coffee when shot in slow motion that is done movies, i...

Lamp lights in the home πŸͺ”

My home was actually bright with the presence of lamps. 'Diya' or 'vilakku' , we commonly call it. This practice of lighting the diyas in the home is something I encountered from my childhood. How as children we used to enjoy the diwali, this was also one of the common festival celebrated. We call it Karthigai deepam . It's true that we don't get an holiday for this festival but still this brings us a feel of joy while we light the lamp inside our home. I still wonder why this festival is celebrated because like how there are stories for celebrating diwali according to Hindu mythology, there must be a story for this festival too but I have no idea on what is the story because my mind was completely concentrating on lighting the lamp and safeguarding it from the wind. You know, it's really hard to do it because this festival is celebrated during the month of Karthigai , considered to be the eighth month according to Tamil calendar and December month accord...
